We bought a BIG DEAL from Angies List. We had planned on having Big Fish clean the gutters, but my husband asked for a quote to replace the roof. The price was so good that we made an appointment and had the entire roof replaced (not to mention our gutters cleaned).

Big Fish was the best contractor we have ever dealt with! They were polite, punctual and did quality work. They cleaned up the roofing materials as they worked. They arrived at 7am on Tuesday and our roof was completed by Wednesday afternoon. They removed the old antenea and tacked down some loose exterior siding. I can't tell you how easy it was to deal with these professionals. Well, maybe I can - 2 neighbors were SO impressed that they have now contracted with this company. You will be very pleased!

After receiving several estimates which were all very similar we went with Big Fish. We felt Erik was very honest and easy to work with. All the work was done as scheduled. We had very nice weather for early November so the roof was done in 2 days and the gutters in one. Clean-up after each day was excellent! The workers were all very respectful of our property and really worked well as a team. The roof and gutters look great, we are very pleased with the results and would strongly recommend Big Fish to anyone needing a new roof or gutters.

Description Of Work:
Following a water leak in my kitchen last winter, I knew I needed something done. Being a single homeowner, with little maintenance knowledge and on a fixed income, I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. My quest started with a "Big Deal" on roof maintenance. After Erik listened to my problem/concerns, he did a thorough inspection and offered several suggestions and options. Due to the age of the roof, I opted for a complete tear off/replacement with gutter and downspouts.

I am extremely pleased with the work that Erik and his company provided me with. From the start, Erik was prompt in his contacts and very patient in explaining all work proposed and the process. My perception of his integrity is what made me comfortable in relying on and trusting his expertise to provide me with what needed to be done and with the right products for my situation. The work was started in a reasonable time with the main roofing done all in one day. His crew was awesome! Seven people arrived early in the morning, worked hard all day, no "lolly-gagging" They were all very polite and respectful, answering many questions I asked and took the time to explain things. An amazing job was done on cleaning up the property at days end. Due to weather, the gutters were done 3 days later but once again with the same skill and attention that the roofing crew provided. Patching was done on a small flat rubber roof over kitchen leak area rather than a larger replacement expense at this time. If that isn't successful, I will have no hesitation in consulting Erik again next spring. A great job was done, I feel very lucky to have come across this company and I can highly recommend this contractor and his crews! Great job Erik and Big Fish!!!

We had two layers of shingles to remove. Member Comments: Erik was excellent to work with. He was patient and accommodating when decisions needed to be made. He was very easy to reach by phone or email and most times got back to you the same day if you left a message. When the work started we were very pleased with the caliber of his staff - they were respectful, polite and very hard working individuals. What amazed us though was how other than seeing our new roof, one would never know Erik's crew was working at our house meaning our yard, driveway and landscape were left unscathed from the work, everything looked as it did before they started. We would highly recommend using Big Fish Contracting. |
